First steps into MedTech
Our first venture into the medical sector came through a long-time partner who introduced us to implantcast, a German manufacturer of cutting-edge joint replacements. The brief was clear: give surgeons a modern, mobile catalogue that feels as premium as the implants it showcases.
Design meets precision
We collaborated with a freelance UI designer to achieve a look worthy of the operating theatre — clean, calm, and information-dense without feeling crowded. The entry screen presents an interactive skeleton; tap a joint and jump straight into the relevant product range.
The moment I heard about this project I was fired up and wanted to start immediately. I’ve worked with 3-D models for years, so bringing real-time 3-D into a medical app felt especially exciting.

Behind the scenes we built a React-based web dashboard where implantcast employees can:
- upload products, images, 3-D files
- enter rich-text descriptions in German and English
- tag products by anatomy and indication
- view user analytics and app-usage heat maps
- manage internal roles & permissions
No technician required — the CMS is point-and-click.
